AutoComplete Form Data
Microsoft Internet Explorer
(version 5 and later) has an AutoComplete feature
that helps you fill in Web-based forms. If the
feature is enabled, each time you submit data in
a form, the information is encrypted and stored
on your local machine. The next time you encounter
a form field with the same internal field name,
IE will try to complete that field automatically.
As soon as you type a letter that matches the beginning
of any recorded value for that field, IE will display
a list of possible values from which you can choose.
To see all saved values, press the Down Arrow.
Anyone
can extract all this information from the system
registry and use it against you. It is strongly
recommended that you always clean the AutoComplete
data after using Internet Explorer.
Easy SystemCleaner protects your
privacy and clears AutoComplete forms content in
Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

CheckDisk file fragments
Ever wonder why Windows
scolds you whenever you restart your computer after
shutting it off the wrong way? Sure, you may know
that pulling your PC's plug without shutting down
Windows can cause errors, but it may not have been
your fault. Perhaps Windows refused to shut down,
and no amount of pressing CTRL-ALT-DELETE would
help. Or perhaps your haughty PC is blaming you
for an electrical brownout. Whatever the reason,
Windows runs the ScanDisk (Win95/98/Me) or Chkdsk
(WinXP) utilities to make sure there are no resulting
file errors. ScanDisk and Chkdsk can turn stray
pieces of files, or lost clusters,
into file fragments for your review.
If
ScanDisk found file fragments, they should now appear
as CHK files in your C:\ directory.
Most of these files are useless and sometimes there
are hundreds or even thousands of them on your drive.
Easy SystemCleaner will get rid of all of these stray
file fragments.
Delete
AddressBar History
Whenever you browse
to a website by typing in the Internet link (URL)
directly in the address bar of Internet Explorer
or Mozilla FireFox, the URL will be saved, and
can be viewed by pulling down the list.
The address bar history shows
some of the web sites you've recently visited and
anyone who has access to your computer and starts
to type in the address bar will get a drop down
url list with the web sites you've visited.
Using Easy SystemCleaner you can quickly delete
the AddressBar history in both Internet Explorer
and Mozilla Firefox.
Delete
files stored in temporary locations
Almost every program, including installers,
create temporary files, to uncompress the files
they need for their operations, to create logs or to write
temporary information to the hard drive.Windows is
supposed to delete these files automatically but it
often misses lots of them, and if left behind they
can cause many problems with your computer. Removing
temporary files frees up hard drive space which then
enables your computer to run faster.
Easy SystemCleaner finds all of the useless
temp files on your hard drive and safely deletes them.
It would be a very tedious or even impossible task
to do this manually.
Delete
Temporary Internet Files.
Temporary Internet Files
are, in fact, the cache of the Internet Explorer.
This means that when you load a web page with Internet
Explorer, it is saved on your computer so that
if you later decide to open the same page again,
it will open a lot faster. Temporary Internet Files
improve speed of web browsing and also make possible
so called offline browsing, which gives
you the ability to open the web pages from cache
even when you are not connected to the Internet.
Despite all these positive
things about Temporary Internet Files, they have
one big drawback: they compromise your privacy.
Everyone with access to your computer can look
into your Temporary Internet Files folder and see
the sites that you have visited in the past. You
can manually delete the contents of Temporary Internet
Files folder but this will not
erase all traces of the pages because a special
file called Index.dat is placed in this folder
and it will still preserve the names and even the
dates of your first visits to many pages.
You
can use Easy SystemCleaner to
clean all traces from the Temporary Internet Folder.

Browser Cookies
You probably already
know that Web sites can collect information about
your Web browsing habits through the use of cookies.
These cookies are small text files
that Web sites can create on your computer to store
information gathered about your visit to the site
including, where you went, what you did, and any
personal information you gave. Web sites may also
allow other Web sites (their advertisers, for example)
to put cookies, known as third-party cookies,
on your computer.
When you change how Internet Explorer 6 handles cookies,
the new privacy settings might not apply to cookies
that are already on your computer. To make sure that
all the cookies meet your new settings, you can delete
all the existing cookies. Easy SystemCleaner helps
you do this quickly and easily.
Delete
Internet History
The most important type of history is the Internet
history that is created by Internet Explorer,
which records every page that you have visited on
the Internet. In order to see this history start
Internet Explorer and select View -> Explorer
Bar -> History (see
the picture below). This will open a narrow window
in the left side of the main IE window, which shows
the pages that you have opened in the past.

Deleting of all history
traces is a very hard task that can not be done manually
because most of them are stored in system areas that
are not directly accessible from the user. Also the
history traces are so many and they are scattered
at so many places that their manual deletion would
be very long and tedious work with high probability
of mistakes that could lead to privacy holes or even
render your computer unusable.
EasySystemCleaner will get rid of your browser history
quickly and efficiently.
Clean Page File .
Like any child, Windows
very rarely cleans up after itself. For instance,
Windows doesn't clear out the swap file before
shutting down. This can cause serious security
issues and lead to performance drops if the swap
file is not optimized correctly.
Please be aware however, if you use a large page file, shutting down may take a bit longer as the system has to clear the data first!
You
can use Easy SystemCleaner to
clean page file.
